Luke is a physical therapist with 20 years of experience. Trained in New Zealand where physical therapy is accessible as an integral part of the medical system, Luke has helped elite athletes and regular folks alike overcome injuries, prevent recurrence and perform their best.
Rick comes from a product design background and brings Harvard-trained business leadership to Alleviate. When Rick met Luke, he was suffering from a knee injury that kept him from living a full life for years. Luke fixed him up in 6 weeks.
Virginia left high-profile positions at ecommerce mega-corporations to build Alleviate from the ground up with Rick and Luke.

Driven by an insatiable desire to solve problems, we embarked on a mission: to make effective treatment for common, chronic, and debilitating injuries accessible to everyone.
Our first invention was the Arch Massager, a precision-engineered foot massage tool to give everyone an intuitive way to replicate the professional massage Luke gives his patients - called Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. Fun fact: the first model was built with Play-Doh that Luke "borrowed" from his daughter.
